About the Author

Hi! My name is Kyle Paquin. I have been a Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser since 2015 within the East San Francisco Bay Area. My firm provides expert valuations on residential properties in the region. I have a passion for teaching and appraiser education which has led me to train multiple trainee appraisers and develop instructional courses for the Real Estate Appraisers Association (REAA).

In 2023, I was elected the Education Committee Leader for the East Bay Chapter of REAA where I work to further strengthen local educational offerings and connect with my valuation peers. I am also a proud member of the National Association of Appraisers(NAA) and the Community of Asset Analysts (CAA). I hold an Associates of Science in Business as well as several Certificates of Achievement in various business-related subjects. I currently live in Benicia where I operate a mid-term rental ADU with my wife and child.

About the blog

The mission of this blog is to provide greater clarity into how the East Bay Area markets are moving on a monthly basis.

The structure of this blog was created with R Studio, an versatile computer program designed for data science, statistical analysis and data visualization. I have spend many hours learning how to use the program effectively but I would like to give credit to George Dell, Bruce Hahn, John Fariss, and the Community of Asset Analysts for their guidance. The Community and I hope that our efforts will support the public trust of the appraisal profession through the propagation of modern valuation principles. If you are an appraiser interested in learning how to visualize data, contact me at .
